The City Of Macclenny has contracted garbage collection with Meridian Waste. Curbside garbage collection is scheduled for pick up on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays of each week. Dumpsters are picked up Monday through Friday .

Meridian Waste observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on or prior to your regular collection day, pick up will be delayed by one day through the end of the that week.

The City Of Macclenny provides yard debris pick-up services on a periodic basis.  Yard debris is classified as limbs and leaves.  Limbs shall be no greater than 10 feet in length and no greater than 5 inches in diameter.  Leaves may be placed in garbage bags for pickup. Yard debris should not be placed near mail boxes, telephone pedestals, electrical junction boxes, directly under power lines, or directly under trees. Yard debris can be placed next to sidewalks (not on the sidewalk) or next to driveways. Yard debris must not contain any other trash such as metals, glass, plastic, or clothing. Anything other than yard debris will not be picked up! The grapple truck is a large vehicle and will need an overhead clearance of around 20′ feet above the truck with additional clearance around the truck.

The City of Macclenny will not pick up any household items, white goods or anything classified as non-yard debris or limbs. Burn permits for yard debris must be authorized by City Fire Department at 904-259-3331.

Household waste, large limbs & yard debris, building material, furniture, carpet, etc., must be taken to the Griffin Court Dump Site located at 765 Griffin Ct, Macclenny, Florida.
